General Questions
At Prime Pawline Co we work with a carefully selected lineup of premium breeds: Akita, American Pitbull, Australian Shepherd, Basset Hound, Beagle, Bichon Frisé, Border Collie, Boston Terrier, Boxer, Bull Terrier, Cane Corso, Cavachon, Chihuahua, Chow Chow, Cocker Spaniel, and Corgi. Every breed is raised to the highest standards of welfare and genetic health.
The Beagle is friendly, curious, and cheerful — a great match for most families. Beagles are sociable, playful, and get along well with kids and other pets. Their gentle nature makes them ideal companions. They're active and love exploring the world with their nose, but they also need plenty of affection and company.
Both are intelligent herding breeds, but they differ in temperament. The Border Collie is extremely work-oriented, highly focused, and needs constant mental and physical stimulation. The Australian Shepherd is also active and intelligent, but tends to be a little more balanced and versatile in everyday family life. The Border Collie often laser-focuses on a task, while the Aussie shows more flexibility across different situations.
Yes — the Boxer is one of the best family dogs out there. Loyal, playful, patient, and amazing with children. Boxers are energetic dogs who love their family and have a natural protective instinct. Despite their powerful look, they're gentle and affectionate, especially with the smallest family members.
Yes — the Chow Chow needs special care and attention. Its thick, luxurious coat should be brushed regularly (ideally daily) to prevent matting. The Chow Chow has an independent temperament and is often reserved around strangers, so it benefits from consistent, loving training and early socialization. It doesn't handle heat well due to its dense coat, so extra care is essential in the summer.
For smaller homes, the Cavachon, Bichon Frisé, Chihuahua, and Boston Terrier are excellent choices. The Cavachon and Bichon Frisé are compact, cheerful dogs that adapt beautifully to apartment life. The Chihuahua is the smallest breed and thrives in cozy spaces. The Boston Terrier is balanced, calm, and highly adaptable to city living.
Our Border Collie and Australian Shepherd are the most active — they need serious mental and physical engagement and suit athletic owners. The Beagle is an enduring, curious companion who loves long walks. The Boxer is energetic, playful, and loves roughhousing with family. These breeds are ideal for active people and families who spend a lot of time outdoors.
Not really. The Akita is a loyal, devoted companion, but also very independent, strong-willed, and dominant. The Akita needs an experienced owner who can offer consistent, clear leadership. Without the right training and socialization they can become territorial and difficult. For experienced owners, however, the Akita is a wonderful lifelong companion.
About Our Puppies
It starts with a personal consultation where we learn about your lifestyle and recommend the right breed. Then you select your puppy from an available litter and place a reservation deposit. In the weeks leading up to pickup we send regular photos and development updates. Placement happens at 8 weeks old once the puppy is fully socialized, vaccinated, and dewormed.
Puppies start at $1,400 and vary by breed, pedigree, and unique traits. The price includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, veterinary health certificate, microchip, 2-year health guarantee, starter kit, and ongoing breeder support.
Yes, we deliver across all 50 states. We prefer in-person pickup so you can meet us and the puppy can have the smoothest possible handoff. When that isn't possible, we partner with specialized pet transport providers who prioritize comfort and safety on the journey. Shipping costs vary by distance and are quoted individually.
Every Prime Pawline Co puppy comes with a 2-year genetic health guarantee. Our breeding dogs are tested for the key hereditary conditions of each breed. Every puppy is placed with a current veterinary health certificate and vaccination record. We also offer post-placement veterinary support and remain available for any health questions throughout your puppy's life.
Our puppies go home at 8 to 10 weeks of age. This window is crucial for their physical, emotional, and social development. During these weeks they are fully socialized, receive their first vaccinations, and learn key social skills from their mother and siblings. Separating too early can cause behavioral and health issues.
